Fonta Flora 50K and Half Marathon

The Fonta Flora 50K and Half Marathon is a trail running event held at Lake James State Park in Nebo, North Carolina, near the scenic Linville Gorge and Shortoff Mountain. The races start and finish at Fonta Flora Brewery's Whippoorwill Farm, offering runners beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The half marathon covers approximately 13.1 miles with about 850 feet of elevation gain, mostly on single-track trails.

The 50K spans roughly 31.5 miles with 2,400 feet of elevation gain, featuring single-track trails, gravel, and pavement. A new relay option is available for the 50K.
