Forest Frolic Trail Race & Hike

The Forest Frolic Trail Race & Hike takes place at Findley State Park in Wellington, Ohio. This event features multiple distances including a 5K trail run, 5K trail hike, 10K trail run, and a 1-mile fun run for children 10 and under. The course offers a scenic, curvy route around Findley Lake with forest views, streams with bridge crossings, and some short steep inclines and declines.

The race starts and finishes near the park’s beach parking area. Participants receive a t-shirt, swag bag, and a hand-crafted medal by a local artist. The event supports conservation and educational efforts at the park.
