Forgotten Florida
Forgotten Florida is a unique trail running event held in Christmas, Florida, featuring distances of 100 miles, 50 miles, 15 miles, and 8 miles. The race explores rarely traveled single-track trails through scenic areas like Tosohatchee, Charles Bronson State Forest, Seminole Ranch, and Little Big Econ State Forest, showcasing Florida’s wild and beautiful landscapes. The 100- and 50-mile courses are point-to-point, mostly on trails with minimal pavement, while the shorter distances are single loops.
Runners can enjoy diverse wildlife sightings, including many bird species, without the challenges of swampy terrain. The event supports trail maintenance through donations to the Florida Trail Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
