Forgotten Florida
Forgotten Florida is a unique trail running event held in Christmas, Florida, featuring distances of 100, 50, 15, and 8 miles. The race explores rarely traveled single-track trails through scenic areas like Tosohatchee, Charles Bronson State Forest, Seminole Ranch, and Little Big Econ State Forest. The course offers a mix of runnable sections through palm groves and pine flatwoods, showcasing some of Florida’s most beautiful trails.
Wildlife sightings, especially diverse bird species, add to the experience. The 100 and 50-mile races are point-to-point, mostly on trails with minimal pavement, while the shorter distances are single loops. The event supports trail maintenance through donations to the Florida Trail Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
