Turkey Trot Oviedo
The Turkey Trot Oviedo is an annual Thanksgiving Day running event held at Oviedo Mall in Oviedo, Florida. The main race is a 5K run/walk, chip-timed and open to all ages, including a youth 5K and a kiddie run of 100 meters for children aged 1-9. A virtual 5K option is also available.
Participants receive a finisher medal, and age group awards are given to top finishers across various age categories. The event features a festive, community atmosphere with over 1,800 runners, free parking, and a course starting and ending at the mall. Additional challenges include a Ruck Sack division involving weighted backpack walking.
