Formosa Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k
The Formosa Wine Run Turkey Trot is a 5k event on Sunday, November 9, 2025 in Kissimmee, Florida at Formosa Winery, 3011 Formosa Gardens Blvd, Kissimmee, FL 34747. The event is open to ages 1 to 99. Standard registration is listed at $50 with a youth rate of $25 for ages 1 to 20; the price increases after August 16, 2025. The venue includes a tasting house, a vineyard, and fruit orchards.
Race features and logistics
The event is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online. Registration includes a ring-spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine-glass shaped finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. A virtual participation option is available; packets can be picked up or shipped for a $10 shipping and handling fee. Age group awards will be given to top finishers in 10-year categories, and winners must start with the first group to be eligible; awards are available for pickup on the day of the event. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes shirt, medal, and bib but not the wine glass or wine pour.
