Fountainhead Half Marathon Trail Run

The Fountainhead Half Marathon and 10K Trail Run takes place at Fountainhead Regional Park in Fairfax Station, Virginia, just 30 minutes from Washington D.C. This challenging event features a half marathon of approximately 13.5 miles and a 10K of about 7.2 miles, both on rugged trails with rocks, roots, streams, and significant elevation gains (1,400 feet for the half marathon and 700 feet for the 10K). The half marathon course includes a 6-mile stretch of the Bull-Run Occoquan Trail and several rarely used side trails, while the 10K features a shorter section with a notable climb.
