Fourth of July Freedom Four Miler
The Fourth of July Freedom Four Miler is a road race held annually in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, coinciding with the town's July 4th parade. Participants run a four-mile course along parade-filled streets, encouraging runners to wear patriotic attire. The event offers prize money for the top three male and female finishers, with a special prize for the 30th-place finisher in celebration of the 30th anniversary of ELEEF.
A prize basket is also awarded to the most patriotic participant. The race has a 60-minute time limit to accommodate parade scheduling, and shirts are guaranteed for those registered by mid-June. Packet pickup is available before race day and on race morning at East Longmeadow High School. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
