About the race
The 32nd Annual Fox Chase Run is a community 5K and Youth 1 Mile race held in Fox River Grove, Illinois. The 5K starts and finishes at Stanger Park, next to Algonquin Road School (975 Algonquin Road), and winds through the town’s scenic streets. A Youth 1 Mile for ages 13 and under is also offered.
Organized by the Fox River Grove Recreation Council, a volunteer nonprofit, the event features cash awards for the top male and female finishers and medals for age-group winners. Pre-race packet pickup is available, and race-day registration is offered. The event is a festive community tradition, with volunteers guiding participants.
