Fox Firecracker 5K
The Fox Firecracker 5K is scheduled for July 4, 2026 in Kaukauna, WI. The event takes place in downtown Kaukauna with course views that include the Kaukauna Library and the Fox River. Every finisher will receive a finisher medal and an American flag. The event program includes music by the UW-Madison Marching Band and apple pie. The kids run is untimed and open to ages 1 to 8. Family pricing is available.

Registration and logistics
Registration opens February 1, 2026 at 12:00am CST and all registration will be online. Race-day bib pickup will be faster for participants who complete registration before arrival. Listed entry fees include $30 for the 5K, $5 for the kids run, and $30 for the virtual 5K. Virtual participants can submit their times between July 4 and July 8; final results will be posted July 9.
