FRC Deerfly Trail Race

The Deerfly Trail Race, hosted by the Fayetteville Running Club, is held at Carvers Creek State Park – Sandhills Access in Fayetteville, NC. It offers 11K and 6K trail races for runners, plus two dog divisions: Big Dog 11K and Lil Pup 6K (dogs allowed). All events are timed, with the course winding through the Sandhills and longleaf pine forests; participants may glimpse white-banded red-cockaded woodpecker trees and fox squirrels.

The race caps at 200 runners and features year-five shirts, coins, pint glasses, and a Friday packet pickup with post-run fellowship. Park entry from Ramsey Street; onsite parking for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
