Registration Facebook

The Free State Trail Run, held in Meriden, Kansas, offers challenging distances including a 40-mile, marathon, half marathon, and quarter marathon. The race takes place on a 6.75-mile single-track loop trail through a hardwood forest with rocky, technical terrain and moderate elevation changes. Runners enjoy occasional views of Lake Perry along the course.

The event starts at the Kimberly Drive Trailhead and features a fully stocked aid station at the start/finish, with water-only at a remote aid station. Participants receive swag like T-shirts and mugs, and finishers earn distance-specific awards. Pacers are allowed for the 40-mile race, and canine pacers for shorter distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
