Freedom Is Never Free Half

The Freedom Is Never Free Half is a running event held at Carderock Recreation Area along the scenic Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Towpath in Potomac, Maryland. The event features 5k, 10k, and half marathon distances, all on fast, flat, out-and-back courses with minimal elevation gain on a light gravel dirt trail.
