Friends of Fishtown 5K
The Friends of Fishtown 5K is an annual running event held in Leland, Michigan, starting and finishing in the historic Fishtown area. The chip-timed 5K course features gradual climbs and descents, making it suitable for serious runners, families, walkers, strollers, and leashed dogs. The race includes RFID chip timing, corral starts, hydration stations, and post-race refreshments.
Participants receive a logo t-shirt, sticker, commemorative bib, and have a chance to win unique medals awarded to top finishers in five-year age categories. The event supports the preservation of Fishtown and is part of the Traverse City Track Club’s 2025 Grand Prix Series. Virtual participation with mailed race packets is also available.
