Frostbite 10k

Frostbite Races in Fletcher, NC, offers a winter wellness tradition with 10K, 5K, and a 1-mile fun run. All events start and finish at the Lelia Patterson Center. The 10K and 5K routes feature Hutch Mountain views with hilly terrain (10K net gain ≈464 ft; 5K ≈257 ft); the 1-Mile is flat.

The courses are professionally chip-timed with water stations on the two longer races. Flurry the Penguin cheers runners on, and a Family Fun Day and Wellness Expo with local vendors, live music, and kids’ activities follows the race. Early registrants receive shirts; top finishers earn medals and a cash prize in the 10K.
