Details
The course begins in downtown Mineral Wells and follows streets with rolling hills through residential areas and near historic homes. On-course support includes water at the start/finish area and one aid station. Packet pick up is offered the day before at the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce and on race day at Zappe Park. The event provides an event T-shirt, finisher medals, food and drinks, and post-event Crazy Water hot cocoa. Parking is available on site. Strollers and leashed dogs are allowed but are asked to start from the back of the start line corral. Volunteer roles include aid stations, course direction, and post-event support; community service hours can be accommodated. Times and some event items are subject to change, and event shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations made less than three weeks before the event.
