Frosty Five: 5K Costume Fun Run : San Antonio
The Frosty Five is a 10th annual 5K event on December 20, 2025, held at Pearsall Park, 4838 Old Pearsall Rd, San Antonio, TX 78242. The event includes a free non-timed costume fun run, a timed competitive 5K, and a Frosty 5k Around the world option. The fun run welcomes pets and strollers. The event encourages donations of gently used athletic apparel, running shoes, or money to support the Street2Feet nonprofit.
Race format and logistics
The timed event includes race timing by IAAP, age-group results and awards, and a frosty snow globe medal and long sleeve shirt for early registrants (medals for the first 150 timed registrants; shirts for the first 120). Age groups start at 19 and under and continue 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus; top three in each age group receive awards. Packets for timed runners are available on race morning under the E-Dragon Productions tent. There is a water stop at about one mile and additional water at the finish. Parking is available at the main Pearsall Park lot and at two additional locations west of the main entrance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
