Frozen Hare

Frozen Hare Swim and TriFest (December 13, 2025) : Broomall, PA

The Frozen Hare Swim and TriFest is the second race of the Frozen Hare Series. Event headquarters are at Lawrence Park Swim Club, 293 Langford Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. The venue is an outdoor heated 25 meter pool, generally heated to about 80F or warmer. Pre-registration is advised. All racers receive a race t-shirt if entry is received by 12/1. No refunds are issued; transfers to a different training or race event are possible if requested at least seven days in advance. There is plenty of on-site parking. A small amount of food and drinks will be available; participants are advised to bring any necessary supplies. Swimmers may be required to share lanes.

Event formats, rules and awards

Multisport events record only the time for each participant’s actual leg; transition times are not kept. Bike and run legs are 100% self supported - no traffic control or course markings are provided, and participants must follow the rules of the road. Cycling segments may be substituted with a stationary ride on a bike trainer; stationary rides are scored separately from road rides. Swim, bike and run may be done in any order. Custom awards are given to the top three overall and to top three in each age group for each event; there is no formal awards ceremony.
