Gallop & Glow 5K
The Gallop & Glow 5K is a vibrant running event held at the scenic Bluegrass Sportsman League in Wilmore, Kentucky. The course features a mix of paved roads, gravel, and wooded trails with a 270-foot elevation change, including long downhill stretches and some short uphills. The race welcomes walkers and competitive runners of all ages, offering a lively atmosphere enhanced by glow sticks and illuminated local business participation as the sun sets.
In addition to the 5K, there is a Kids 500-meter dash. Awards include medals by age group, trophies for top overall finishers, and cash prizes.
