Event overview
The Garland Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Audubon Park, 342 W. Oates Rd., Garland, TX 75043. This is the first annual Garland Turkey Trot. The event program includes the following distances:
- 8M (two laps)
- 5K
- Kid's Dash (about 100-200 meters)
Registration items include an event-themed participation t-shirt. Finishers in the 5K and 8M receive a 4 inch finisher medal. Kid's Dash participants receive a participation shirt and may add a finisher medal to their registration.
Awards, packet pick-up and extras
Age group awards are given three deep in these divisions: M/F 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Overall male and female winners, masters (40+), and grand masters (60+) receive gold medals and an event-themed plaque. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.
Early packet pick-up is scheduled at Audubon Park on the day before the race. Race-day packet pick-up is available at the venue. The organizer offers a points program for its events that awards points per kilometer and performance bonuses, and volunteering can earn a free race code.
