About the race
The Gator Tail 5k Trail Race takes place at Northshore Technical Community College in Lacombe, Louisiana. The event features a 5K trail run, a 1-mile fun run, and a half-mile Gator Gallop for children 10 and under. The course offers a mix of gravel, dirt, grassy paths, and short pavement stretches through wooded areas and around a nearby development, with potential mud depending on weather.
Participants enjoy three water stations along the 5K route. Awards include medals and t-shirts for all runners, with prizes for top finishers. A virtual option is available for remote participants.
