Tammany Turkey Trot

The Tammany Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day running event held in Covington, Louisiana. It features three race options: a 5K Run/Walk, a 5 Mile Run/Walk, and a 1 Mile Fun Run. The course begins just north of downtown Covington, taking runners through the historic downtown area and scenic streets lined with moss-covered trees.

The 5 Mile route extends further south past beautiful homes before returning to finish at the St. Tammany Courthouse. The 1 Mile Fun Run starts earlier in the morning, offering a family-friendly option.
