About the race
Gay Head Run for the Light 10K is a coastal race held in Aquinnah, Massachusetts. The USATF-certified 10K begins near the Gay Head Cliffs and follows a scenic route down State Road past the Aquinnah Town Hall and Public Library, then along Moshup Trail by beaches and surf, returning to the iconic Gay Head Lighthouse—an event run under the lighthouse beam. Water stations are spaced every two miles, with a bag check near the lighthouse circle.
Prohibitions include skates, scooters, skateboards, and animals; single jogging strollers are allowed but must start at the rear. Proceeds support lighthouse restoration.
