The Get Basted Turkey Trot is scheduled for Sunday, November 23, 2025 in Cumming, GA at North Forsyth Middle School, 3645 Coal Mountain Drive, 30028. The event offers both in-person and virtual options with these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
- Half Marathon
Virtual entries are available for the same distances. Events are capped at 500 participants. Dragon Boat Atlanta is listed as the 2025 charity partner.
Course, logistics and awards
The course is a 3.1-mile (5K) loop. Distances are run as laps on that loop: 5K = 1 lap, 10K = 2 laps, 15K = 3 laps, Half Marathon = 4 laps plus a short additional section. The course will be electronically timed. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. Participants must finish at a pace of at least 16 minutes per mile.
Packet pickup is handled on race morning, with bib mail-out available for a nonrefundable fee. Swag and merchandise prices are listed by the organizer: long sleeve shirts $22, hoodies $27, online finisher medals $7.50 (higher on race day). All participants qualify for overall and age group awards; each race will award top finishers by gender and masters age categories, and age group awards for standard five-year brackets.
