Girls on the Run of the Greater Piedmont

The Girls on the Run of the Greater Piedmont 5K is a community-focused running event designed to empower girls in grades 3-8 through a non-competitive after-school program that combines running with social-emotional learning. The event encourages participants to embrace their potential and pursue their dreams, supported by volunteer coaches. Open to the community, the race offers 100 spots for local runners and walkers, with all proceeds going towards financial assistance for girls wishing to join the program.
