Glass City Marathon

MERCY HEALTH GLASS CITY MARATHON : April 25–26, 2026

The event takes place in Toledo, Ohio, based at the University of Toledo, 2801 W Bancroft. The full marathon is a 26.2-mile one-loop course that begins on Bancroft Street near the University of Toledo North Tower and finishes on the field inside the Glass Bowl stadium. The route passes Ottawa Park, Ottawa Hills, the University Parks bike trail, Wildwood Metropark and Sylvania before returning to the university. The course is described as having little elevation change and smooth paved roads.

Events and entry details

Saturday programming includes the Savage 5K, the Nationwide Children’s Toledo Kids Run, and the Tom Falvey Health & Wellness Expo. Sunday features the Mercy Health Glass City Marathon, the Owens Corning Half Marathon and the North Star BlueScope 5-person relay. Registration opens September 1, 2025. Field limits are listed as: marathon 1,500; half marathon 2,500; relay teams 200; 5K 1,500. Virtual participants can complete their registered distance between April 26 and May 3; virtual packets will be shipped and results may be posted online. The event offers a first-time marathon perks package with expo service, a commemorative recognition package, and a special race bib for first-time marathoners.
