Glimmerglass Triathlon

Glimmerglass Triathlon takes place in Cooperstown, New York, on Otsego Lake's Glimmerglass Bay and Glimmerglass State Park. The event features a 1.5-mile paddle (kayak or canoe) followed by an 18-mile bike ride on quiet roads north of the park, and a 5K run that crosses the Hyde Hall foot bridge through Glimmerglass State Park. A 3–4 person team option splits the disciplines for a shared race experience.

Participants provide their own equipment, with rentals available during registration. The day includes official timing, a finisher medal, a post-race party, and a commemorative sweatshirt for early registrants, plus refreshments and safety checks.
