Goat Run - Port Angeles, WA

Website Registration

The GOAT Run in Port Angeles, Washington, is a challenging trail running event featuring a half marathon (~14 miles), marathon (just under 26 miles), and 50K race. The point-to-point course traverses Kelly Ridge along the Olympic Adventure Trail, between Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, finishing at the scenic Lake Crescent inside the park. Runners experience lush forests, single-track trails, unpaved forest roads, and a short pavement stretch, with elevation gains ranging from 1,500 to 3,700 feet depending on the distance.

The event includes well-marked courses, aid stations, chip timing, a free shuttle to the start, and a festive after-party at Log Cabin Resort. The race promotes sustainability by being cupless, encouraging runners to use reusable hydration vessels. A portion of proceeds supports local trail maintenance organizations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
