The Gobbler 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, in New Port Richey, Florida. The event is the 13th annual run hosted by First Christian Academy. Distances offered:

The 5K will be chip-timed. Proceeds from the event support First Christian Academy. The event includes music and vendors.
Logistics and awards
The race takes place at Jay B Starkey Park, with the start and finish at the Educational Center / Information Kiosk. Participants will park in the fields at the park entrance and walk a short distance to the race area. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at the Starkey Park Educational Center. Participants receive a finisher’s medal, a poly dry-fit race t-shirt, and a backpack. The top three in each age group receive placement trophies. Jogging strollers are welcome and well behaved, leashed pets are allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
