About the race
Gobblers Run 5K is the 19th annual, family-friendly race in Wake Forest, North Carolina, held on Thanksgiving morning. It is a 5K race, with course details available on the event’s Course page. The event typically attracts about 2,000 participants and creates a festive pre-meal atmosphere.
All proceeds benefit the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club, and the race has raised over $500,000 to date. Pricing features separate tiers for ages 6–15 and 16+, while kids 5 and under run free (no shirt). Packet pickup is 4–7 pm on the two days before the race at the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club.
