The 20th Annual Gobbler's Run is a 5K held in Wake Forest, North Carolina on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2025. The event takes place at the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club. All proceeds benefit the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club; the event has generated over half a million dollars for the club and has a stated fundraising goal of $1,000,000.
Registration and logistics
Children age 5 and under are free (no t-shirt). Registration fees for ages 6-15 are: $15 before 10/1, $20 before 11/1, $25 from 11/1-11/23, $30 from 11/24-11/26, and $35 on race day. Registration fees for ages 16 and up are: $20 before 10/1, $25 before 11/1, $30 from 11/1-11/23, $40 from 11/24-11/26, and $50 on race day. Packet pickup is scheduled for Tuesday, 11/25 and Wednesday, 11/26 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club. A virtual race app option is available to use phone GPS to track a race and upload a verified time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
