Event overview

The Grand Prairie Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Mike Lewis Park in Grand Prairie, Texas (2410 N Carrier Pkwy, 75050). This is the third annual running of the event. It includes an in-person 5K and a virtual option. Registration prices listed are $53 for the in-person 5K and $52 for the virtual event. Registration closes on November 27, 2025. The course is described as flat and the event is a timed race. Awards are given to male and female overall finishers and in age groups: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79. Strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers are allowed but must start at the back of the field; a one-hour course time limit applies. Parking is free and a bag check will be available near packet pickup. Pre-packet pickup is scheduled at Epic Nutrition (3154 State Hwy 161 Suite 630, Grand Prairie) on November 25, 2025. The event has a no-refund policy; extreme or unsafe weather may lead to course changes or cancellation at the race director's discretion. The race benefits Grand Prairie United Charities Food Pantry, which requests non-perishable donations such as peanut butter and canned meats.
