Event overview
The Grand Ridge Trail Run takes place on November 8, 2025 at Grand Ridge Regional Park in Issaquah, Washington (27000 SE 79th St). It is the finale of the Evergreen trail-running season and includes multiple race options:
- 5 Mile
- Half Marathon (loop measures closer to 14 miles)
- Full Marathon
- 50K
- 5M Brunch Run
- Kid’s Race (1.1 mile crushed gravel trail)
The marathon uses two laps of the half-marathon loop. The 50K consists of two half-marathon loops plus the 5-mile loop. Series awards are mailed the week after the race. Every finisher receives a piece of handmade finisher swag produced with solar power in Anacortes, Washington.
Course and logistics
All distances start at the Highpoint Way Trailhead and follow the Issaquah-Preston Trail for 0.5 miles before a climb. The route includes rocky, technical switchbacks, a detour on Flowing Fir Trail, and two distinct loop courses. Trails remain open to other users during the event, including pedestrians and cyclists.
Aid stations are stocked with water, Tailwind, Clif products, PBJ sandwiches, fruit, cookies, crackers and pretzels. This is a cupless race; runners should carry a refillable container. Approximate elevation gain: 5 mile 1200 ft, half 2400 ft, full 4800 ft, 50K 6000 ft. Parking is available at the small lot at the trailhead, along SE 79th St, or at the I90 Church parking lot.
