Course, aid stations, and logistics
All distances start at the Highpoint Way Trailhead and follow the Issaquah-Preston Trail for 0.5 miles before a climb. The course uses two distinct loops: a separate 5-mile loop and a longer half-marathon loop. Rocky, technical switchbacks lead to the 5-mile junction; the half/full/50K course includes a detour to the Flowing Fir Trail and reaches the Duthie aid station. Elevation gain is listed as: 5 mile 1200 ft, half 2400 ft, full 4800 ft, 50K 6000 ft. Aid stations provide water, Tailwind, Clif products, PBJ sandwiches, fruit, cookies, crackers and pretzels. The race is cupless : runners should carry a refillable container. Trails remain open to other users, including pedestrians and cyclists. Parking options are the small lot at the trailhead, roadside on SE 79th St, or the I-90 Church lot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
