Grand Ridge Trail Run
The Grand Ridge Trail Run, held at Grand Ridge Regional Park in Issaquah, Washington, is the final race of the Evergreen Trail Runs season. It offers multiple distance options including 5-mile, half-marathon, full marathon, and 50K, catering to a wide range of runners. The course features two distinct loops: a 5-mile loop and a longer half-marathon loop, with marathoners running two half-marathon loops and 50K participants completing two half-marathon loops plus one 5-mile loop.
The trails, developed by the Washington Trails Association, consist of over seven miles of connected paths ideal for running, hiking, and biking. Aid stations provide water, nutrition, and snacks, and the race promotes environmental stewardship with a cupless format requiring runners to carry refillable containers. A free 1.1-mile kids' race on crushed gravel is also offered.
The event emphasizes inclusivity and sustainability, with handmade finisher awards powered by solar energy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
