Great Lakes Shipwreck Half Marathon

The Great Lakes Shipwreck Half Marathon and 5K takes place in Paradise, Michigan, starting and finishing at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. The event features a flat and fast out-and-back course along Whitefish Point Road, with the half marathon covering 13.1 miles and the 5K covering 3.1 miles. Participants receive medals and can purchase event t-shirts.

The race supports the restoration of the GLSM Lighthouse, and 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the Edmund Fitzgerald sinking, highlighted by a special museum exhibit.
