Great River Road Race

The Great River Road Road Race (GRRRR) takes place at Pikes Peak State Park in McGregor, Iowa. This chip-timed event features USATF-certified and sanctioned 5K and 10K runs along a scenic course starting from the park's parking lot. Runners follow Pikes Peak Road west to the Great River Road, then south to the respective distance markers before returning on the same route.

The course offers a fun and fast experience with slightly rolling hills. After the race, participants enjoy an awards presentation and a complimentary, unique pancake breakfast, creating a welcoming and festive atmosphere for runners of all levels.
