Course and logistics

Route features include single track, some double track, a half-mile rocky jeep-road section at the start, steep climbs and descents, creek-bed sections, and wooded trails through mesquite and oak. Course markings include orange caution tape, yellow arrows, and confidence markers; signs indicate where shorter distances split from the main loop.
Timing is chip-based with ankle-attached chips and mass starts per distance. There is one on-course aid station plus a main start/finish aid station stocked with water, Tailwind, snacks, and fruit; cold sodas and water are available at the finish. No official drop bag locations are provided for the course. Parking is at large sport field lots south of the primitive trailhead with a 0.25 mile sidewalk walk to the race hub. Camping is not provided at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
