About the race
Great Springs Trail Race – Natural Bridge Caverns is a San Antonio, Texas trail-running event that begins inside the Natural Bridge Caverns (part of the Comal Caverns network). Participants choose from multiple distances and formats: 4-, 8-, and 16-mile courses; Last Person Standing races; an 8-mile Ruck; and a Youth 1-mile trail race for 12 and under. The course winds through rolling hills and wooded sections after surfacing into daylight, offering a dramatic atmosphere with views from below the earth.
The race supports the Great Springs Project and highlights the Edwards Aquifer’s role in sustainable water. Swag is provided, with a shirt deadline noted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
