Legacy of Courage Half Marathon - San Antonio takes place at Ladybird Johnson Park along the Salado Creek Greenway in San Antonio, Texas (10700 Nacogdoches Rd). The event offers multiple distances: Kids Dash, 1 Mile, 5K (3.1 miles), Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles), and Half Marathon (13.1 miles), plus a Volunteer-then-Run option and a Virtual Run. Produced by Bigfoot Running Company, expect a lively atmosphere with on-site vendors, a DJ, live awards, and special age-group recognitions.
The scenic, shaded course features park trails, native wildflowers, and creek crossings. Proceeds benefit The Outdoor Disabled Veterans Program, supporting disabled veterans’ outdoor therapy and healing. All finishers receive a medal and shirt.
