The 2025 Greenville American Legion Post 291 5K Turkey Trot Family Fun Run/Walk takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Greenville, NY 12083. The event is the 3rd annual Thanksgiving Day 5K and is held at Greenville Town Park (George V Vanderbilt Park). Registration fee is $30. Registration closes November 26, 2025 at 9:30 PM EST. The event is open to all ages.
Course and awards
The course starts at George V Vanderbilt Park/Greenville Town Park and follows Town Park Road, NY-32, Irving Road, Newry Lane and Devan Road, with a turnaround at a cul-de-sac before returning to Town Park Road for the finish. Awards are given for fastest time for male and female runners, plus awards for best patriotic attire and most unique costume. Collection boxes will be available for the Greenville Food Pantry and the Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive; participants may bring canned goods or toy donations.
