Growler Gallop

Growler Gallop Atwater is an in-person running festival held at Atwater Brewery in downtown Detroit. In its 12th year, the event features a USATF-certified 10 Mile course winding along the Detroit Riverwalk and around Belle Isle, plus a 5K that follows the Riverwalk and returns before the Belle Isle Bridge. Walkers and strollers are welcome in the 5K.

The day blends sport with celebration—music, medals, race shirts, and a beer token for all finishers, plus post-race snacks. Prizes include cash for top overall finishers and growlers for age-group winners. It’s also part of Trivium Michigan’s Mega Medal Series, with in-person and virtual options.
