The Gumby 10k and 5k

The Gumby 10K and 5K are trail running events held at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. The races feature scenic courses along the shores of Folsom Lake, with well-marked trails and enthusiastic volunteers providing support. Aid stations are strategically placed throughout the course offering water, electrolyte beverages, and energy gels.

Both distances—6.2 miles for the 10K and 3.1 miles for the 5K—welcome runners of all ages, with awards given for overall and age group performances. Participants can purchase race shirts in advance, and the event is organized by TBF Racing, known for multisport events in the Sacramento area.
