About the race
Willow Hills XC Open is the Buffalo Chips Running Club’s 16th annual cross-country race held in Folsom, California, near Folsom High School. The event features a single 5K course run in two laps around a water reservoir adjacent to Folsom High School, characterized by rolling hills. Runners compete in three 5K divisions: Women, Masters Men, and Open Men.
This race is part of the Pacific Association USATF Cross Country Grand Prix circuit. A $75 bonus is awarded to any athlete who sets an age-group course record, and current records are published on the organizer’s site. Registration is $25 in advance or $30 on race day.
