About the race
Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place along Little Sugar Creek Greenway in Charlotte, NC (Tyvola Road to Huntingtowne Farm Park). The event offers three distances: 5K, 10K, and a half marathon, all on an out-and-back course with repeated laps: the 5K and 10K reuse the same route (5K once, 10K twice) and the half marathon runs four laps. Runners can look forward to medals and a festive atmosphere that encourages costumes.
Overflow parking is at Queens University across the street. Packet pickup precedes race; on-site registration is not offered. It earns US Road Running series points. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
