About the race
Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon takes place at James Wilson Park in Temple, Texas. The event offers three distances: 5K, 10K, and a Half Marathon, all on out-and-back courses. The 5K is one loop, the 10K two loops, and the Half Marathon four loops.
Finisher medals are awarded to all participants, and costumes are encouraged for a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. The race earns points toward the US Road Running Race Series. Registration is online via RunSignup only—no on-site registration—and packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the start and closes 10 minutes prior.
