Event overview
The Medal Madness event takes place on January 17, 2026 at Crossroads Recreational Complex in Temple, TX (7325 Prairie View Rd, 76502). The event offers the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
All finishers receive a themed finisher medal. The event earns points toward the US Road Running Race Series.
Course and logistics
Courses are paved and configured as out-and-back routes. The 5K course is completed once and the 10K course is completed twice. The half marathon course is repeated four times and the marathon course is repeated eight times. There is a 6-hour course time limit.
Parking is available in the lot by the Crossroads Tennis Courts off Prairie View Road. Restrooms are located behind the tennis court. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A group photo is taken at the beginning of each race and a best costume award is given at the start.
