About the race
Haunted 5K & Half Marathon at Hickory City Park in Hickory, NC offers two Halloween-themed races: a 5K and a Half Marathon. The out-and-back courses require the 5K to be run twice and the Half Marathon to be completed in six laps, starting and finishing at 1581 12th St Dr NW. All finishers receive a themed medal, and a best-costume award is announced after a pre-race group photo.
Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the start. The event also awards US Road Running Series points and has a 3:30 time limit. Friendly, supportive atmosphere for runners of all levels. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
