Event details
The Medal Madness race takes place on March 7, 2026, at Holston River Park, 3300 Holston Hills Road, Knoxville, TN 37914. The event includes the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is held on race day and closes shortly before the race. The starting line is located near Shelter #1. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Course information and features
The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back segment. One out-and-back measures 1.56 miles; the 5K completes that segment two times and the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses a different out-and-back segment of 2.18 miles; the half marathon completes that segment six times.
