Event overview
The Medal Madness event takes place on December 13, 2025, at Lake Beresford Park in Deland, FL (2100 Fatio Rd, 32720). The event includes multiple distance options and is organized by US Road Running. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Finisher medals are provided. A shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards are part of the event offerings.

Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back segment of 1.56 miles. The 5K repeats that segment two times; the 10K repeats it four times. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back segment of 2.18 miles repeated six times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Parking at the start location is limited. Overflow parking is about 0.50 miles away; participants are advised to allow time to get to the start if they use overflow parking. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
