The Viking race takes place on February 7, 2026, at Paul Boorman Trail Park in Longview, TX (1505 Princeton Ave, Longview, TX 75604). Distances offered are:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Parking at the park is limited.
Courses and logistics
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back segment that is repeated: the 5K runs the out-and-back twice, and the 10K runs it four times. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back segment repeated six times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. Finisher medals and awards are provided. A shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, and series points are noted for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
