About the race
Pilar McLemore Butterfly Run is a community running event in Longview, Texas, hosted by the Longview Arboretum and Nature Center. Held on November 1, 2025, the race features a 5K Run and a Little Bug Run for kids, with the start at the Arboretum’s West Gate facing Maude Cobb. It is held in honor of Pilar McLemore and includes post-race perks such as a Chick‑Fil‑A breakfast, a swag bag, and a race bib.
