Event details
The New Year race takes place on January 3, 2026, at Shamrock Park in Venice, FL (3900 Shamrock Dr, 34293). The event includes the following distances:
- 5K - out-and-back, one loop
- 10K - out-and-back, two loops
- Half Marathon - out-and-back, four loops
Course and logistics
All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The courses use a mix of concrete and asphalt. The start is located on the path behind the Nature Center, which also houses on-site restrooms. Course layouts described by the organizer note an out-and-back of about 3.11 miles for the 5K/10K loop and about 3.28 miles for the half marathon loop. The overall event has a 3 hour 30 minute course time limit. The organizer provides finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, awards, a Best Costume element, and series points as part of the event information.
