About the race

Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon at Vietnam Veterans Park in Concord, NC is located at the Dogwood Shelter, 760 Orphanage Rd. The event offers three distances: 5K and 10K are out-and-back on paved roads with a gravel/dirt stretch; the 5K goes out-and-back once, the 10K twice. The Half Marathon follows the same out-and-back format for four loops.

The course is shaded, with bathrooms in the parking lot’s right corner. A 3:30 time limit applies. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before start; all registrations are online via RunSignup; no on-site registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
